No Kidding!!

Dictatorship China and autocrat Russia respectively, seems to be so full of their own political games that they could not see past the tip of their own noses in terms of Syria. They have all reason to fear democracy for that matter. Highly regrettable that each of these two countries are permanent members of the UN Security council, first of all. Stunningly stupid that they got there first place. Only truly democratic countries should be able to become permanent members of the UN Security council of course. There are obviously plenty of room for improvements how the UN is run, that is for sure. There is no question that each of these two totalitarian regimes will fall within time. Any totalitarian experiment is doomed in an enlightened world, which is a truly encouraging progress taking history into consideration.

The whole system of permanent members of the UN Security council makes room for amendments in terms of the UN Charters. This system has certainly survived itself, and should be replaced as soon as possible by a prudent improvement. Peace, democracy, human rights, and civil rights should not be just mouth-babble. It is for real, believe it or not.

Consequently, these two bedlam regimes are of course only kidding themselves. Their totalitarian rule have to be ended as soon as possible. Practically the whole world knows it, by now. Internal rhetoric are nothing but public lies. Purely ludicrous, indeed!

January 28, 2012 - My Future House

Lake Mary, FL or Lake Great Aspan, Falun??

I feel rather asphyxiated in the condominium neighbourhood where I am living for the moment, which in turns makes moving ever more accentuated. I need my own house more than ever it seems.

I could easily settle on many places both in Europe and oversees. I particularly like Florida, not only for climate reasons. Wonderful gardens and cheap town houses from a Swedish perspective. I could also easily settle in Baden-Wurtemberg, Switzerland, Japan or Canada for instance. There are job openings in Lake Mary, FL which is definitely an attractive alternative to what I am looking at for the moment.

I have found a new wonderful building site, not far away from where I am living for the moment. With all likelihood a classic Japanese-style garden. It will cost me dearly, I am afraid, since I want to build a passive house. Well above $400k. A similar house in Florida will cost me less than half that price.

Buying a nice town house in Lake Mary, FL is of course associated with landing a job there. However, seems a little bit too good to be true from my perspective. It looks somewhat more likely that I could land a decent engineering job in hinterland Sweden. I am looking at the outskirts of Stockholm as well. I will always become discriminated against because of my autism, as well as being hated because of being honest when it comes to politics, but I try not to think about it. I simply do not engage in different games people play, however many civil rights crimes I am becoming subject of. By the way, it is 2012, not 1928. It is a completely new era with completely new paradigms and dynamics. Some would of course argue what on earth politics has to do with buying a house?? However, as a person who will always be more or less side-lined in Sweden, I am also having difficulties financing building a house despite my triple Masters degrees. My autism gives me a whole list of advantages, and very few disadvantages when it comes to professional life. From my perspective, my autism is a gift I would never want to get rid of. I have a very positive view about my autism. I should have a much higher salary than normal people, and not 2/3 of what people with a Masters degree within engineering. I am not greedy or anything, I just want enough bacon for living a full life. Since this is obviously a stunning injustice it is also very hard to not having negative emotions about my discriminatory situation, but I at least try my best not to think about it.

I Am Impressed!!

As much as I am completely uninterested in political games in the US, I am looking beyond the bickering, and see quality all over the place. Around seventy-five percent of Swedes would vote for Ralph Nader. However, if I were ever to become listed as a voter in the US, I would probably always vote center-right for economic reasons. That is generic GOP. I am a quite responsible adult which does not need to be patronized by politruks, nomenklatura or politicians. There is a tendency within the Republican Party to get involved with state-corporativism, which I do not agree with. As much as there is a tendency within the Democratic Party towards the good old "salvation by Big Government", which I would never agree with either. That is the main reason why I would never vote for any Democrat candidate. However, in the interest of all Americans, I am not at all sure this is the best choice for the public masses. As I have previously mentioned, I generally agree with most of Barack Obama's proposals and analysis.

When casting their ballots, people are not exactly rational. My experience from Sweden tells me a lot that people are rather insane when casting their ballots. People could obviously make any crazy rationalization at the voters box. I just try not to think about it in either cases. On the other hand, politics is always filled with compromises. Good politics is all about securing the interests of weak special interests.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_system#Criticism_of_democracy

In Sweden we are suffering from a dysfunctional political system. In the countryside, people are still voting for totalitarian beliefs. Politics in Sweden is practically always about strong special interests crushing weak special interests. This is the very nature of representative democracy which I deplore, and reject. I am always promoting liberal democracy since it is simply a superior model for truly democratic decision-making. My point is that as far as I could see, the American voting system seem to sort out quality and vice versa. I have a good feeling about what is going on in America. Either way, nothing could go wrong.

Letting Go of Stocks at My Employer!

I was lucky enough to be able to sell stocks at my employer at a very good prize. There were benign versions of insider trading which benefited me quite well.

2011 was a year of consolidating profits, which also was performed according to the plan. Which is shown on the stock price. It should even rise a little bit more looking at the fundamentals and the fact that this stock took a hit just because of the fiscal and monetary mess in other Europe. Again, Finland is run exemplary in terms of fiscal policy and monetary policy.

As I have mentioned before, the Finnish part is run by first-rate managers. However, I could not even take Swedish regional managers seriously. They are so incompetent, that I am ashamed as a Swede. Furthermore, they are stunningly naive and incredibly stupid decision-makers. I would be surprised if they own stocks at their own mother company. They are having real difficulties seeing past the end of their own nose. They are completely wrong persons for the task they are supposed to perform, that is taking regional considerations in the benefit of the company as a whole.

Both local managers and highly skilled engineering consultants are of course jumping ship en masse having such "clowns" as regional managers. I am stunned by their sheer stupidity which does not take place often. When political gamers are stuck with their own stupid games, they are having a hard time breaking their own pattern it seems.

Lucky enough, neither I nor probably around hundred skilled engineers and competent local managers need to be any part of these chimpanzee games for much time long. There are plenty of much better offers around.

Time Is Ripe For an Implosion in North Korea!

In terms of the astounding troubles in North Korea, the best solution is of course an imploding regiment similar to the fall of the Sovjet Union. That is the best one could hope for, as far as I could see.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea

There are of course plenty of other viable options such as a public uprising, palace revolution, civil war, UN mission, and so forth.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Korea

Reuniting with their South Korean cousins makes perfect sense to me, even if that would mean tremendous efforts for both parties. No question, all the world is ready to pour subsidies upon the North Koreans. They are only about 24 millions of extremely suffering North Koreans as compared to 49 millions South Koreans. Has to be prudently organized in terms of monetary policy and fiscal policy of course. Does not happen one day to the other. The mental traumatisation must be immense.

The people of North Korea are not stupid per se, they are just extremely brain-washed. Really hard to deal with as an outsider. Nobody wishes them harm, that is for sure..

Personally, I keep my fingers crossed for an imploding terror state. Their personal cult has become totally ridiculous. Three generations of dictators is at least two too many.

It should not be able to hold the grip over a whole people like that in 2012. The planet should be well beyond that type of regiment by now. UN and ICC have to be blamed of course.

Mine and Yours.

I regularly criticize people under Socialist regiment for not being able to tell the difference between mine and yours. Private Law, property rights, and civil rights are merely on paper in such countries.

However, there is also a tricky oxymoron if being a subordinate employee while owning stocks at your own employer. And I am not referring to being self-employed, which is a whole other matter, for obvious reasons. Particularly if the company is badly run in general, or if regional managers are non-performing.

It is highly questionable if I as a subordinate employee have an obligation to act if I find my managers non-performing. Probably not. To avoid this situation one probably should not own stocks at all if you are a subordinate employee. At least worth considering.

Consequently, I have learned my lesson to neither own stocks in the same company as I am a subordinate employee nor intervene in other people's companies. Working as a paid management consultant is of course not taken into consideration, which is a whole other matter.

Well Under Way Who Will Become My New Employer!

I have been somewhat exhausted and overwhelmed with negative emotions, not even sleeping very well, because of a certain mess in terms of my job-seeking. However, there seems to be a close to perfect solution right around the corner. I am very positively surprised how matters have turned out. Did not at all expect it to be an all this good solution. For a moment, I was worried that I would have to jump to a worse job situation than I have for the moment. However, the upcoming solution is much better than I could ever imagine. There are even awesome options, all in Engineering it seems. I come back upon the specifics later on..

The good part is that I do not have to leave the scenic, and beautiful place, where I am living today. Neither do I have to leave Computational Engineering as it seems. Which is of course a perfect solution for my party. I will probably even keep my current key customer, just as my assignments, which is a completely flabbergasting development, indeed.

There are currently four valid options, all of them with first-class managers, good strategy, and flat organization. Which means that I could completely focus at delivering to my customer and leave business administration to those who are much more suited than me as a severely autistic Engineer. Could not stress more that having Autism, from my perspective is an amazing gift I have, which makes me deliver a lot better than otherwise in the workplace. I could easily handle simple logic social interactions. I just avoid the complicated ones which are in effect logical fallacies, as I see it.

I am quite happy with my current assignments. I like my current customer a lot as well just as the local charm about it. I grew up in a quite similar area of Sweden. Consequently, I am an insider of sorts which makes me feel much more comfortable which has become ever more important for me. Hopefully, I could keep them both. There are even quite a few attractive areas of developing as an Engineer at this company. This solution means that I will get peace in mind in order to focus at what I am supposed to do, that is delivering as a Computational Engineer. Not focusing at anything else.

Consequently, I am only looking forward to working for my new employer. I am seeking a safe long-term solution with some minor upside in terms of career, which makes one of the options more attractive than the others. Probably with the same assignments, as I have for the moment.

Letting Go of The Year 2011.

2011 was an awesome year for me on a personal level, just as on a professional level. I am clearly in a very good loop for the moment, and I truly look forward to 2012. As it seems, I am conditionalized for great things to happen, both in terms of my professional life, as well as my personal life.

However, there are always things to let go of. Here is a whole list of matters:

  • My former employer, and three layers of managers above my next manager in particular. Probably having to drop off my next manager as well, since he does not have a solid enough business plan which is making sense to me.
  • If necessary in order to get the right kind of job, I will move to Stockholm or abroad. Also considering Oslo and some other places. However, I positively like to stay if I could only land that Computational Engineering job I am looking for.
  • I am ready to leave my current career in Computational Engineering, in favor of advanced IT. I truly enjoy them both, so I do not mind for that matter.
  • Considering dropping off my current plans of building a passive house at the place I am living for the moment, in favor of a new building site, probably in the outskirts of Stockholm, close to the lake of Malaren, or some suitable bay in an area which is in effect a Swedish golfers Mekka. Considering a wonderful building site area at my customer as well.
  • As the aspiring Buddhist I claim to be, I would like to drop off some negative emotions, which I am experiencing for the moment. That is the case in terms of my former employer, as well as partnership with girls. I used to be an idiot with girls, but I am a fast learner as well. Having severe autism is not a complete excuse for living alone. I certainly do not suffer from living alone, on the contrary. However, this does not mean that I need to have negative emotions about girls or that there could not be an even better life having a first-class partner. I might as well be extremely picky, since I am as far from desperate as one could come

Some Humble Piece of Advice.

I am seeking new job openings within Engineering, since I am dissatisfied with strategy, as well as leadership and managerial stability. I have good hopes to land a new Engineering job in one month or two. I sometimes regret that I have a MBA, since this makes me analyze the strategy and organization, and also to find solutions to imminent problems. It is (thankfully) far from my job, but I am still trained for this task. Could not stress more, that I hate back-seat drivers myself, just as I hate being one. Abstaining from being a back-seat driver is part of being a responsible professional. Just could not help that I am an analytic monster of sorts..

I am working at a Finnish company which is very well run in Finland, but very poorly run in Sweden for several reasons. The Swedish part does not even have a proper Human Relations strategy, which they certainly have in Finland. Weak leadership from the top, as well as poor profits makes plenty of room for improvement. The Swedish branding project was not properly implemented which will probably back-fire one way or another.

I have no hard feelings, really. I wish them success in every sense of aspect. They obviously have a few challenges ahead of them, and there are always solutions to business matters.

In terms of the Swedish part, there are at least two sites which are closing. And at least one new site for that matter. Which most regretfully probably means both diminished revenues, and poor profits for the Swedish part in the continuing year. Bad for the company as a whole.

My advice to the Finnish part, is to drop off the Swedish mess. It will only bring poor profits, and is far from an attractive employer for Swedish Engineers. We have plenty of much better options. Switching from Engineering to Consulting will strike back for sure. There are many other players doing this much better. Most Engineering consultants could probably get a very attractive offer from the customer, which has to be taken into consideration as an option.

My advice to the Swedish part, is to make each incorporated site independent of corporate chimpanzee games which totally creates a toxic environment which is highly damaging to business opportunities. That is implementing a flat organization. Should not be all that hard. Each incorporated site should always have an option to leave internal-political gaming, and be run by local managers. If overhead is run properly, this also means that there certainly is not within interest for managers to drop off one site.

The Finnish mother company might of course consider a completely new flat Organization with a complementing solid business plan, instead of dropping off the Swedish part. I will sell my stocks long before any mess takes place no matter what. However, I do care about their success respectively, and have no hard feelings at all about this very fine Finnish Engineering company. The Finnish managers are top-notch, and leave no room for improvement. The strategy for Finland is of course solid as well.

Chimpanzee Games

For the moment, I seem to be surrounded by idiotic political games, which I truly hate. Particularly being a part of other people's idiotic games, which I have not chosen to be any part of myself. Sweden is usually completely notorious when it comes to politicizing just about everything.

In the US, there is political havoc because of political gamers. Could not continue forever. I truly deplore Barack Obama has become a victim of these games. He is in fact a very strong analytic mind of the situation, who really should be able to deliver big time to the well-being of all the nation. Be that as it may.

There are obviously a whole set of political games taking place in the European Union, as I have mentioned before. Which I deplore as well. It could seemingly continue for ever which is highly regretful of course.

Sweden is actually relative free from political gamers for the moment. It used to be much worse when the Socialists were at power. However, the Swedish part of my own company is breaking down because of stunningly stupid politics.

Encouraging!!

The Eurozone is far from an optimal currency zone, that is for sure. However, it is still good enough to survive, if only structural fallacies are addressed. There are some good signs of change just as there are worrying signs of resistance against correcting wrongful construction of the monetary union.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimum_currency_area
http://www.ecb.int/ecb/history/emu/html/index.en.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro_Plus_Pact

It is quite obvious that the awareness of both the democratic deficit and the imminent structural fallacies of the European Union have increased all over the last year. It is thereby all reason to believe that all the countries of the European Union have a great future, those countries not being a part of EMU in particular, which is yet another paradox of our complex world. I would wish that it was within the interest of the Swedish and British people, but it most regretfully is not, as of yet. As it seems, it would be good timing within five to ten years or alike. The ruling politicians in EMU countries have not quite learned their lesson yet. However, they hopefully will quite soon.

The Analysis of PM Cameron and PM Reinfelt Is of Course Quite Correct!

First of all, I totally denounce petty chimpanzee games taking place in an alarming situation, where Europe even risk falling apart of sorts. The only thing exploding is the blood pressure of a certain French prime minister which represents a bad example of poor economic decisions in terms of a poorly timed political shopping spree. It is highly revealing in terms of incompetence that these silly games are not easily brought to an end. These people obviously are not at all aware of their own ludicrous appearance.

Second of all, I completely support joint efforts in terms of monetary policy, fiscal policy, risk sharing, trade, environment, security/defense, rule of law, democratization in general inter alia.

FT

I am positively certain that both UK and Sweden will join EMU as soon as certain basic preconditions are met. However, these basic preconditions are not met for the moment. I wish they were, certainly. Sometimes splendid isolation is quite at place, and now is such a time.

On the downside, there is of course lost influence while still being heavily affected buy the EMU. That is also the main reason why the European Union makes sense. Cooperation and creating win-win deals is often quite a good strategy, for the good of all. Competition is often a lose-lose game.

There are plenty of countries who does not at all deserve this mess. Such as Finland and Luxembourg. They are doing everything right.

No more silly games, pleeease!!

Putinism

Mr Putin is of course a product of former Sovjet dictatorship. This system has partly survived itself, and so has Mr Putin. He is a conniving jerk who is totally unreliable in every aspect, besides always trying to increase his influence and wealth. A primitive person who is incapable of seeing his own ludicrous appearance. His own power and glory goes before everything. It is highly regrettable that these primitive simpletons without proper reflection capability could still get to power in the year 2011. Sad enough that it is brought to an end in Italy. It is of course a reflection of education level at people in general by the countries respectively. Working on improved education systems does not seem to be such a bad idea when these happenings keep on repeating themselves.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Putinism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Russia_(1992%E2%80%93present)

I am not saying the Russian people does not deserve an autocrat like Mr Putin. They might as well do. People in general deserves their politicians.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Russia

The truly sad result of the recent elections is of course a result of that the well-educated middle-class just is not large enough, as of yet. It is approximately 55 millions compared to whole population of approximately 150 millions.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Russia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia#Demographics

As the well-educated middle-class are growing by the day, it will also mean the end to any autocrat experiment of the Russian Federation, being Communism, National Socialism or Fascism. I truly look forward to it. Find it hard to believe that Russia will become Internationalist in several generations. I could not stress more that I do not blame them for that matter. The Russian people will prosper immensely under Putin, which is also a great irony. Says a lot how the world goes around.
